Joanne’s financial services career began in 2004 after a 30-year career in the Pelham Public Schools. During her career, she earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and focused her practice on retirement, estate, and college planning strategies. She was able to mesh her background in education and finance by becoming one of the first to be awarded the Chartered Special Needs Consultant® designation. She holds master’s degrees in education and administration From Hunter College and the College of New Rochelle and a BA from Marymount College. Joanne completed her Certificate in Financial Planning at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. In addition, Joanne holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and SIE licenses, as well as Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses.
She lives in Pelham with her husband and is happy and proud to enjoy her grandchildren and their activities nearby. Joanne has served on the board of the Westchester Children’s Association since 2006, a non-profit advocacy group working to shape policies and programs for all children in Westchester.
