Peter’s career began as an engineering officer in the United States Merchant Marines. In 2003, he was awarded the Operation Iraqi Freedom Expeditionary Medal for his overseas deployment. During his time on ships, he decided to pursue an interest in investing and learned the ins and outs of the finance industry. He spent nearly 12 years in the engineering field before transitioning into financial services, where he has been ever since. Peter Holds a BS in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and was honorably discharged from the United States Naval Reserve in 2005. In addition, Peter holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 65, 63, and SIE licenses, as well as Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses.
